One more reason I won't be joining the military any time soon.
US military have developed a dried food ration that troops can hydrate by adding the filthiest of muddy swamp water or even peeing on it.
I can see the benefits of these rations, and the science behind the packaging is amazing but it's still disgusting.

Sure, lots of celebreties give their kids weird names, but so do regular folk.
ESPN is taping a show about kids named after the network.
According to ESPN spokesman Dave Nagle "...there's no better testament than when someone names their child after your product."
According to this article from Psychology Today "kids named Espn tell of parents with a more general love of sports."

Legendary New York punk guitarist Robert Quine was found dead in his apartment in NYC.
According to Billboard Magazing he died of an apparant heroin overdose. Quine was a member of punk pioneers Richard Hell and the Voidoids and worked with other luminaries such as Lou Reed, Tom Waits, Brian Eno, John Zorn and Lester Bangs.
